We rang in the New Year with some fountain fireworks in the backyard. [The kind of fireworks that don’t go higher than 6 to 9 feet!] We saved the fountain fireworks from our July 4th, Independence Day celebrations. It was worth it!
The sparkling lights in the ultra-frosty air, with some added firework-noises to disturb the quiet night (and probably the neighborhood), closed out 2017 on a happy note.
An added bonus was the near-full moon sitting in the clear night sky.
The crackling sounds, the occasional whistle, and flashing lights–red, green, blue, gold–had us laughing non-stop.
Wishing you health and happiness in the New Year!
