Yesterday, there was another impressive event for moongazers. We witnessed a Blue Moon–the second full moon in January, a Supermoon, and a lunar eclipse. Whew. Check out the Super Blue Moon Guide for all the details.
We weren’t quite able to capture the eclipse on film in our neck of the woods, but we still had a beautiful view of the moon to record.
The eclipse occurred in the midst of cloud cover, but what can you do!
Here is a whiter version of the moon. It looked spooky in the clouds.
Alas, the clouds took over.
Another Blue Moon is in store for us in March of this year, with no full moon in February. Stay tuned!
