In Virginia this year, winter was not lost, just late! As I mentioned in my earlier post on cocoa, the second day of Spring arrived with lots of snow! The kids took the first chance they could get to go outside and play in the snow.
They went on to build a big snowman, complete with leaves.
The snow stuck to tree branches.
It was a winter wonderland (except a couple of days late)!

And now the snow is almost all gone, though I bet further up North, there are still piles of it everywhere. Now is the best weather here–on the cool side and without bugs attacking you at every turn. This Spring, I’m looking forward to our foxes to see if they’ll have a litter (like last year). Will check out your email! Love, APK
